Folk Float Goes to London
In July and August, Egremont’s Folk Float is on loan to Public Works, its creators, for a project based at Camden Arts Centre. The project, DIY Regeneration, will canvas the views of the communities of Kings Cross as the area undergoes ‘regeneration’. In September the Float will return to Egremont where the artist Victoria Melody will use it to exhibit her recent Brighton Festival exhibition Demographic of a Pigeon Fancier, which brought together pigeon racers from Egremont and Brighton.
