Film of early history of BNFL workers/ people wanted

Creative Egremont are working with British Nuclear Group to make a film documenting the early history of the nuclear industry in the area. We are looking for people who have memories that they would like to share on film so that we can make a record of the early years of the plant. If you would be interested in taking part please contact Karen Storr at either info@creative-egremont.org or phone 01946821914.

LOCAL PEOPLE WANTED

Creative Egremont intends to make a short film based around the local Cumbrian dialect and how the people that came to work in Egremont incorporated the Cumbrian dialect into their own language to create a whole new dialect. We are looking for Italian, Polish, Irish and any other immigrants that came to this country to work at Florence Iron Ore Mine. We are also interested in talking to friends, local miners and members of immigrant miners families. Please contact info@creative-egremont.org or phone Karen Storr 01946821914
