LOCAL PEOPLE WANTED
Creative Egremont intends to make a short film based around the local Cumbrian dialect and how the people that came to work in Egremont incorporated the Cumbrian dialect into their own language to create a whole new dialect. We are looking for Italian, Polish, Irish and any other immigrants that came to this country to work at Florence Iron Ore Mine. We are also interested in talking to friends, local miners and members of immigrant miners families. Please contact info@creative-egremont.org or phone Karen Storr 01946821914
