Hi, and welcome to Egremont FM, a community radio station for Egremont and the surrounding areas, by Creative Egremont The station ran from Feb. 16th - March 11th 2007 online and on 107fm, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. We broadcast from the Young Cumbria Youth Centre on Wyndham Way in Egremont, though we recorded programmes in many other local venues too.

We hope you'll enjoy looking through our 'Listen Again' selection of shows on this site, and finding out more about our DJ's. The programmes are online here as MP3 files which are easy to download and listen to. We have something for everyone - from reports on the local library, to breakfast shows, to a talk on the famous Crab Fair, to Don Mackay and hunting songs recorded at the 2006 World Gurning Championships.

A HUGE thankyou to all our volunteer presenters and contributors, and to our listeners local and far afield. The station was a great success with many local businesses supporting us, and a large online audience too. Your feedback made a big difference to us whilst we were on air, and if you would like to be involved in any future radio projects locally then we would like you to get in touch with us.
