AKA Michael Wear

I currently work at Sellafield and have been a lifelong DJ and radio enthusiast. Have been spinning discs since the 1960s, own and operate The Solar Sound Roadshows working all over the UK. In the past, been a member of groups, leaning towards comedy. (There is Now't like a good laugh I say! ) Hospital radio presenter and studio manager volunteer 1977 - 1996. Member of the Community Media Association since 1989, campaigned for a full time community radio in west cumbria. Mixed with all sorts of celebs and politicians, (I'll talk to anyone about things they don't want to speak about ). Golden days of Radio Caroline beckened, but due to the governments communications policies on pirate radios in the 60s, threats of british citizenship being taken away from persons who worked on pirate radio made me go along another route in entertainment. I am involved in other charity and volunteer work representing lesser fortunate people in our area. My Motto is: Do not let age be a barrier to what you think you can do - Prove to others that you can, they maybe the barrier.!!!
