Welcome to the Folk Float website.

The Folk Float travelled around Egremont and nearby villages in West Cumbria for several months in late summer 2007. In a specially-customized milk float we've been exhibiting an amazing collection of local memorabilia that you can add to yourself, by giving or lending us anything you think should be in this mini-museum on wheels.

This website was a live record of what happened during the Folk Float's first tour, with photos of you and your donations uploaded straight from the Float by phone - why not take a look at what we collected!
